Fine Jewelry Sales Associate

The Role

Our priority is creating an outstanding client experience, reading clients’ cues to effectively guide them towards the perfect piece of independently designed fine jewelry -- from engagement rings down to everyday hoops. The role entails a wide range of responsibilities including forging genuine connections and relationships with both current and potential clients, and supporting daily operations of the shop and studio practice. In this role, you are a human sponge who absorbs information as a second nature and uses your unique abilities to find creative solutions.

The Ideal Candidate

Outgoing, sharp, and a natural with people, you have an appreciation for independent brands, handmade goods, and design. You have a positive and collaborative attitude, excitement about jewelry and an astonishing ability to multi-task. We are seeking someone who possesses a sharp memory for faces, conversations and details. An exceptional communicator with an excellent command of language. A vibrant personality who is able to meet clients on their frequency and get them excited about what we do, all while being informative and knowledgeable about our pieces, our processes and our materials.

On the back end, clear and concise communication is essential for managing our clients’ custom projects/orders, meeting deadlines and communicating client needs to our creative director and studio team. Our desired candidate will be completely comfortable in a fluid, ever-changing, and spontaneous environment - excited to jump in and assist wherever needed.

Jewelry industry background is not required but is appreciated. We can teach you what you need to know about WHAT you are selling, but we need you to know HOW to sell it. Experience in boutique retail, creative or luxury sales is necessary along with an engaging, attentive and motivated demeanor.

Scheduling + Compensation

This will start as an hourly, part-time position that has the potential to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate. Tuesday - Saturday availability is a must. Compensation commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in process or completed)

  • Boutique/luxury/design retail experience

  • Strong styling ability and high level of personal taste
