The Fine Jewelry Sales Lead will achieve high sales goals while ensuring each client receives personal attention and outstanding service. Responsibilities

Sales & Clienteling

  • Meet one-on-one with bridal clients, virtually and in person, to advise them on their ring purchases
  • Be comfortable communicating the value of our products and custom design services
  • Create a warm client experience throughout all interactions, maintaining the highest degree of professionalism
  • Develop lasting relationships with new and existing clients, supported by consistently noting their personal preferences and circumstances
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals
  • Possess strong product knowledge of the entire Sophie Hughes collection, diamonds, and our sustainability standards in order to educate our clients and advise them with their purchases. (This is the first fine jewelry purchase for many of our clients.)
  • Advise clients on the styling, pairing, and functionality of their jewelry choices
  • Be communicative and timely in all responses to clients - across multiple channels - and consistently follow up
  • Introduce clients to multiple product categories and styles in order to maximize client potential
  • Note all client product feedback and requests, for future merchandising

Custom Order Management

  • Ensure timely production and delivery of all custom orders, by coordinating with the studio and vendors, and relaying all customer requests
  • Impeccably document current project status through each stage
  • Independently and proactively resolve any client questions or issues
  • Consistently and thoroughly follow-up with clients post-purchase

Operational Support

  • Manage inventory levels & pricing records (Shopify & Google Spreadsheets)
  • Upload & maintain product listings on the website
  • Request restock pieces from the studio team when inventory is low
  • Order Fulfillment: create labels, document project status, package, and ship
  • Merchandising & daily maintenance of the display cases and showroom
  • Follow opening and closing procedures, including security protocols

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of luxury sales experience and demonstration of proven sales skills
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented while multitasking
  • Familiarity with jewelry, diamonds and gems preferred
  • Strong styling eye and personal taste
  • Experience with Google Workspaces, Apple systems, & Shopify preferred
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solution oriented & independently motivated

Hours & Compensation

  • Full-time and Part-time Opportunities Available
  • Primarily weekdays with some weekend availability
  • Compensation commensurate with experience
